How many marinas are on Lake Allatoona?

There are eight full-service marinas on Lake Allatoona, according to the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), which manages the lake. The Corps says they offer "varying levels of service including boat slips (both covered and uncovered), dry storage, fuel, boat repairs, rentals, supplies." Four of the eight (Park, Victoria Harbour, Harbor Town, and Wilderness Camp) are run by the same company, Best in Boating, so they share rentals, fuel, and service between them.
1. Park Marina (Acworth)
If you only remember one marina name on Allatoona, make it this one. Park Marina advertises "Lake Allatoona's largest floating gas island with 18 fueling stations," and it is also where the Best in Boating group runs its rentals and its main service center.

- Rental hours (as of September 2026): Monday to Friday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Saturday and Sunday 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Which Lake Allatoona marinas sell gas?

These four marinas list fuel on their websites (as of September 2026):
- Park Marina: 18 pumps, the biggest gas dock on the lake
- Victoria Harbour Marina: 4 pumps
- Harbor Town Marina: 2 pumps, plus pump-out
- Holiday Harbor Marina: gas sales
The other marinas don't mention fuel on their sites, so call before you count on filling up there.
Which marinas rent boats on Lake Allatoona?

Five marinas rent boats directly: Park Marina (WaveRunners, pontoons, tritoons, deck boats, and party pontoons), Holiday Harbor (pontoons), Allatoona Landing (tritoons, a double-decker, a sundeck, paddleboards, kayaks), Little River (tritoon, deck boat, paddleboards, kayaks), and Glade (pontoons, Bayliners, paddleboards, kayaks). Park Marina is the only one that posts starting prices online (see the table above); for the others, call or book online for current rates.
Do you need a boating license to rent a boat on Lake Allatoona?
Georgia doesn't issue a "boating license," but it does require boater education. Under Georgia law, anyone born on or after January 1, 1998, must complete a boater education course before operating any motorized boat on Georgia waters (Georgia DNR Law Enforcement). Marinas can add their own rules on top of that. Park Marina and Holiday Harbor both require renters to be 25 or older.
The BoatUS Foundation's free online boating safety course is listed as officially accepted in Georgia.
Which marinas have a restaurant you can boat to?

Two restaurants are confirmed reachable by boat:
- Sunset Grille at Victoria Harbour Marina in Woodstock ("come by land or come by boat"). Website · Directions · Call 770-874-0379
- Allatoona Grill at Holiday Harbor Marina in Acworth ("use the Gas Dock Walkway for Boat Parking"). The dining room now takes reservations on OpenTable under the name AG SteakHouse, and the casual side is called The Deck. Hours are different for each, so check before you go. Website · Reserve on OpenTable · Directions
Little River Marina also lists a restaurant on its site.
What if I just need a boat ramp?

You don't need a marina to launch. The Corps says there are boat ramps in 27 public recreation areas around the lake. Most Corps areas charge a $5 day-use fee, or you can buy a $40 USACE annual day-use pass (as of September 2026). Check the Corps' recreation status page to see which areas are open before you tow.
How do I check the Lake Allatoona water level?

The Corps posts the daily 6 a.m. pool level, a lake level forecast, and the seasonal guide curve on its Allatoona Lake Levels page. Full summer pool is 840 feet, and the lake is drawn down to 823 feet in winter, so some ramps and slips are affected in the cold months. Questions go to the Allatoona Lake Project Management Office at 678-721-6700 (directions).
